PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dyeing and decoloring agent capable of reductively decoloring fibers especially human hair colored by an oxidizing color or a direct color by combining a reductone, a thiol, a sulfite and an α-oxocakboxylic acid. SOLUTION: This agent is obtained by including a set of (A) at least one kind of reductone (preferably ascorbic acid, hydroxypropanedial or the like) and/or at least one kind of thiol (preferably cysteine, cysteamine, mercaptoacetaldehyde or the like) and/or at least one kind of sulfite [preferably alkaline (earth) sulfite] and (B) at least one kind of α-oxocarboxylic acid (preferably glyoxylic acid, α-ketoglutaric acid or the like) or physiologically mild salts thereof. Furthermore, the preferable contents are 1-50 wt.% reductone, 0.1-10 wt.% thiol, 0.001-5 wt.% sulfite and 0.1-10 wt.% α-oxocarboxylic acid. |
