PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a damping material having favorable damping effect even in a low frequency region of several Hz or lower such as in earthquake vibration. SOLUTION: This damping material consists of a rubber composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of an active hydrogen group-contg. liquid dience-based rubber, (B) an isocyanate group-terminated rubber in such an amount as to be 1:(0.5-0.9) in the equivalent ratio of the active hydrogen group in component A to the isocyanate group, and (C) >=10 pts.wt. but <50 pts.wt. of a bituminous material, and pref. furthermore (D) 10-500 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A, of an aromatic hydrocarbon-based resin. |
