PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slip-preventing agent for fishing by which a fresh bait can be easily attached to a hook. SOLUTION: This slip-preventing agent for fishing comprises diatomaceous earth having mined and dried powdery shape, <=200 μm particle diameter and 10-50 μm average particle diameter. The small amount of the slip-preventing agent can reduce the sliminess of a bait and enables the bait to be easily picked up to enable the bait to be readily attached to a hook and be readily exchanged. When the bait is Eunice or fishworm, the bait becomes untangled and readily picked up. The freshness of the bait is not changed for a long time. |
