摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly obtain an appropriate radiation image. SOLUTION: An amount of electric charge, corresponding to the intensity of radiation which is applied is generated and accumulated and the accumulated electric charge is read, thus obtaining a voltage signal SV. Image data DT from the signal SV are generated and are supplied to a control part 10 from a control circuit 48. The image data are stored in a memory 21 of the control part 10, and a radiation image is displayed on a display device 22. By erasing an electric charge accumulated in a panel 41 immediately prior to application of radiation, the electric charge according to the intensity of radiation can be appropriately accumulated, thus obtaining an appropriate radiation image. A panel 41 is divided into a plurality of regions, and data DP are generated from the signal SV in parallel for each region based on the accumulated electric charge. The data DP that are generated in parallel are set to a specific order for obtaining the image data DT, thus obtaining the image data DP speedily and hence speedily displaying the radiation image.
