This invention relates to a device for dispensing medication such as tablets, pills or capsules into blister packs and like medication containers. In its broadest aspect this invention provides a device (1) for dispensing medicated dosage units (100), the device (1) characterised in that it includes a tray (2), at least one guide means (6), and a dispensing means (4), the guide means (6) being located at one edge of the tray (2) to, in use, assist in directing the one or more dosage units (100) located on the tray towards a dispensing location (10), at which location the guide means (6) is configured and arranged to permit a single dosage unit (101) at a time to be present, the dispensing means (4) being operable, in use, to release the dosage unit (101) from the dispensing location (10) and out of the device (1). |
