The present invention pertains to the field of recreational articles and more precisely to that of toys capable of colour changes. This invention relates to a doll that includes a head, a trunk and extremities, wherein said doll also comprises a coating containing a thermo-chromic or photo-chromic paint. Due to the action of the sun light, of ultraviolet radiation or of a temperature of between 20 and 50 DEG C, the coating changes colour in a reversible manner between a flesh tone and a brown one. The coating preferably contains a mixture of thermo-chromic paints exhibiting colour transitions at different temperatures and having different colour nuances. The doll also comprises a coating in the form of specks of a colourless or transparent thermo-chromic paint that changes colour from white to bright red when heated at a temperature exceeding 50 DEG C. |
