The mast (6) and horizontal beam (7) are telescopically length adjustable and can be fixed in an extended position. The tips (9, 12) of the mast and beam have sharp points housed inside a sleeve, eyelet etc. at two of the sail corners (3, 5), the other two corners (2, 4) being releasably attached to the opposite end of the mast and beam. With the mast and beam fully retracted and the sail tied around them and held in place with e.g. a band, the dismantled sail construction can be used as an ice pick, preferably with a handle. |
