PURPOSE:To make ciphering easy, and to make an electronic processing device small-sized, and to shorten a processing time by executing the ciphering simultaneously with error correcting and encoding, and using a procedure by which a raw data is not processed directly. CONSTITUTION:A systematic code 1 consists of a two-dimensional code array (m)X(n) transmitted successively along a transmitting direction 2, and the inspecting direction is selected to two directions (H, V) 3, 4 being different from the transmitting direction, among four directions which can be taken by a two- dimensional plane. Subsequently, a parity inspecting information of 1-bit is incorporated in each inspection line (H inspection line 5, V inspection line 6) of (m+n) piecs constituted of (m) or (n)-bit, and inspection points 7 of (m+n) pieces in all are contained in the inside of the two-dimensional code array. Transmission information is incorporated in an information point 8. In this state, each inspection point detects one error on one inspection line, and detects and corrects one error which occurs in the systematic code by a syndrome obtained from a received inspection point. |
