PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further generate a signal continuously for a long time by dividing a component into units and providing a means for switching each unit. SOLUTION: A first generator divides its internal configuration into units and consists of a satellite electronic wave reception unit 11u, a reference frequency generation unit 21u, and an output part unit 41u. The same applies to a second generator. Then, an MPU 31 for judging whether the information data of each unit are appropriate or not perform switching control to set a reference timing signal to an input signal from a unit 12u at the second generator side when the unit 11u detects non-conforming data. Therefore, both the generators can operate normally thereafter. When it is detected that the unit 21u fails, switching control is made to input from a reference frequency signal from a unit 22u similarly, thus outputting the reference frequency signal continuously from the unit 41u. Also, when the failure of the unit 41u is detected, the reference frequency signal at the side of the second generator is outputted externally, thus continuously generating and outputting the reference frequency signal. |
