PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture recording method, which can record information in the depth direction together with color information of a picture, and a recording medium where this method is recorded. SOLUTION: Color information and depth information which a picture has are provided to generate a picture by computer processing (S1), and with respect to picture recording processing, color information which each picture element has is recorded (S12), and depth information as the value of depth which a picture element unit has in a virtual space is recorded (S3), and the range of depth information between a maximum value and a minimum value of the value represented by depth information is recorded in relation to depth information (S4). Preprocessing of recording of depth information and the depth information range includes division of the depth within the range of a storage capacity and provision of depth information. |
