PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editor which automatically performs face replacement editing. SOLUTION: A face extraction device 14 extracts a flesh color area and a hair area by using a flesh color table to determine a face area. Face model patterns stored in a face model device 16 are used to perform a fuzzy pattern matching method, thus extracting a face picture. At this time, the position and the size of the face are detected. The extracted face picture is inputted to a face editor 18 to estimated the orientation of the face. A three-dimensional face model picture stored in a three-dimensional face model storage device 20 is adjusted in accordance with the size and the orientation of the extracted face picture and is stuck to the position of the face picture. |
