PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to form barrier ribs of a plasma display panel with high efficiency of raw material utilization and with lesser number of processes. SOLUTION: A metal mask 3 provided with void patterns 2 is attached tightly to a substrate 11, and the voids are filled with a paste-form composition 4 having photo-sensitivity, and an active beam of light 5 is applied onto the paste- form compound from the side of filling or from opposite side thereto so that photo-exposure hardening takes place, and upon tearing off the metal mask 3, the paste-form composition 4 is backed in a furnace together with the substrate 1. |
