PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image deterioration which could be caused by impacts derived from the bouncing back of the rear end of recording paper, without adding new parts. SOLUTION: An image forming device in which the exterior wall surface 42 of the housing 41 of a developing device 4 forms a part of a conveying path just in front of a transfer part and in which the conveying path 3 is set to take a curved shape is assumed. A front surface part 42F against which the top of the curved part of recording paper P when the recording paper P is curved and conveyed is formed on a part of the exterior wall surface 42, and a rear part 42B which is upstream of the front surface part 42F along the feeding direction and which is behind the front surface part 42F is formed. After the recording paper P has passed between a pair of register rollers 6, 6, its end is bounced back toward the housing 41, but since the speed at which the end is inverted is reduced before the recording paper P extends along the front surface part 42F, no impact is applied to the developing device 4. |
