PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable receiving traffic information or the like broadcast from other station without damaging the receiving of correction data, by temporarily changing the receiving frequency of a tuner to the frequency of other station, while correction data are outputted to a GPS receiver. SOLUTION: The receiving frequency of a tuner 22 can be periodically changed by a controller 26 with a frequency switching timer. Before the timer operates, a correction data block is not broadcast from a GPS station, and the receiving frequency of a tuner 22 is held for the frequency of other station. An FM multiplex signal of other station is outputted to a controller 26, and extracted traffic information or the like is displayed on a display unit 30. When the timer operates, a controller 26 switches the receiving frequency of the tuner 2 to the frequency of the GPS broadcasting station, extracts correction data from the FM multiplex signal or the like, and outputs the data to a GPS receiver 28. Until the next correction data are broadcast, the receiving frequency of the tuner 22 is switched to the frequency of another station. |
