The support (1) has a welded pocket (3). Inside this, two polyurethane gels (5A, 5B) of differing densities are introduced. An Independent claim is included for the method of making the cushion. The pocket (3) volume is delimited, possibly with block-like projections (4) corresponding with a first area (6A), into which the first gel (5A) is injected, to polymerize. The entire pocket is then welded, delimiting a second volume corresponding with a second area (6B) into which a second gel of different density is injected, to polymerize. Preferred features: The gels are each distributed in a volume delimiting two areas (6A, 6B) of differing sizes. The gels, contained by welds in their respective volumes, are unable to mix. They are colored. The pocket (3) is adhered on the upper face (2a) of the foam support. More than two gels may be used.
