BACK LIGHT DEVICE AND LIQUID DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE BACK LIGHT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a back light device by reducing its weight and thickness. SOLUTION: A wedge type light transmission plate 2 is integrated in an engaging part 3a formed on a resin frame 3. A double coated adhesive tape 4b is stuck to the end part of a reflection sheet 4 formed to the same size as the resin frame 3 and the plate 2 integrated in the engaging part 3a is temporarily held between the frame 3 and the sheet 4. Then the back light device and a liquid crystal panel are combined with each other and fixed on a driver substrate. Consequently the back light device is completely fixed and a liquid crystal display device is formed.
