<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out inspection and repairing of a valve installed on a nozzle of a low temperature tank without drawing out liquid in the low temperature tank. SOLUTION: A flange coupler 4 is previously held by a simplified clamper 7 and a sealing cover 8 is installed around it at the time of removing a valve 3 installed on a nozzle 2 of a low temperature tank 1 through the flange coupler 4. Inactive gas 13 is sealed in the sealing cover 8, and a clearance is made on the flange coupler 4. An inactive gas injection pipe 12 is inserted through the clearance, the inactive gas 13 is injected by required pressure in the low temperature tank 1, the sealing cover 8 is removed in this state, a closing plate 16 is installed on a surface of a nozzle flange 2a, and it is sealed.</p> |
