PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer feeder which can achieve high picture quality and high durability by inhibiting a decrease in image density and fogging. SOLUTION: In a developer feeder in which a developer removed and collected by a cleaning device 5 is mixed with a new developer and fed to a developing device 2, a sub-hopper 3 is provided between a hopper 4 storing the new developer and the developing device 2, and an agitating rod 32 for mixing the collected developer with the new developer and agitating them, a residual developer detecting sensor 33 for detecting the residual amount of the mixed developers in the sub-hopper 3, and a magnet roller (mixed developer supply member) 30 for supplying the mixed developers to the developing device 2 are provided inside the sub-hopper 3. The collected developer is temporarily stored in the sub-hopper 3, and the collected developer stored in the sub-hopper 3 is supplied to the developing device 2 after being sufficiently mixed with the new developer and agitated by the agitating rod 32. |
