PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide secondary battery electrodes enabling weight reduction of a battery to be achieved and capable of increasing the amount of effective active materials formed on the whole electrodes, by removing an active material in an electrode area not confronting an active material on an adjoining electrode. SOLUTION: In secondary battery electrodes each comprising a base plate 62 and active materials formed on both sides of the base plate 62 and wound inside and outside a separator 4 interposed therebetween, a part without any active material formed thereon of the base plate 62 is exposed in a portion being of a surface of the outside negative electrode 60 and notconfronting a surface having the active material formed thereon of the inside positive electrode 2. |
