PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information in a non-volatile memory from being easily read out even in the case that a protective film is mechanically, physically, or chemically scraped off to expose the surface of an integrated circuit. SOLUTION: A battery 13 which covers at least the face where a non-volatile memory 1 is formed of a semiconductor chip 6 and had a positive pole side 13+ and a negative pole side 13- connected to the semiconductor chip 6, a capacitor 17 connected to this battery 13, a voltage detection means (voltage detection circuit) which is connected to the battery 13 to detect the change of the voltage supplied from the battery 13 and outputs a signal in accordance with this detection result, and a means which applies the discharge voltage of the capacitor 17 in accordance with the output signal of the voltage detection means to the non-volatile memory 1 to information stored there are provided. |
