PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude the reduction of the processing rate due to rotation processing by performing the rotation processing of a picture and read of the rotated picture at the same rate as write of the picture to be rotated without increasing the device scale. SOLUTION: At the time of the rotation processing of plural blocks, blocks in the column direction of picture data to be rotated are first written, and thereafter, a block in the column direction of picture data to be rotated of the following block is written simultaneously with read of a block in the row direction of picture data to be rotated, and a block in the row direction of picture data to be rotated of the following block is written simultaneously with read of a block in the column direction of picture data to be rotated, and these operations are alternately repeated to simultaneously read and write blocks, and further, block pictures are continuously subjected to rotation processing. |
