SOLUTION: This navigation device for displaying map information at the display device and guiding a vehicle is provided with a judgement means 55 for judging the resolution of the display device, and a display control means 56 for controlling the display form of the map information to be displayed based on the resolution judged by the judgement means 55. The display control means 56 controls the display form and performs appropriate display corresponding to the resolution of the display device.
