PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical service delay information providing system to relieve burden on a patient in a waiting room of a hospital. SOLUTION: The medical service delay information providing system is constituted of terminals 31 to 3n to be installed at each room, agent terminals 610 to 6nn to be installed at a reception desk and each medical office, etc., of the hospital and a communication network 2 to connect the terminals 31 to 3n with the agent terminals 610 to 6nn and the agent terminals 610 to 6nn are provided with a function to detect medical service delay information as difference between reserved time and starting time of an actual medical examination and a function to provide the medical service delay information to inquiries from the terminals 31 to 3n.
