PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric path breaking component for a battery, reduced in the number of part items and improved in assembly facility. SOLUTION: In this electric path breaking component T for a battery, a conducting path is formed between a battery lid 11 and a heating element (not illustrated) within the battery via a diaphragm part D and a lead 18a, the diaphragm part D is displaced when an inner pressure of a battery case K rises above a fixed value, and the diaphragm part D and the lead 18a are separated from each other by the displacement of the diaphragm part D, whereby the conducting path is broken. |
