PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance radiation detection accuracy by decreasing the arranging interval between unit elements, to simplify the structure by decreasing the number of unit elements to be mounted and to eliminate disturbance in the arrangement of unit elements by holding them stably on a mounting board. SOLUTION: The two-dimensional matrix array radiation detector comprises a unit element array module 30 where a plurality of unit elements 1 are arranged continuously in the column direction. A common electrode terminal plate 2 is fixed between the unit elements 1 of the unit element array module 30. A plurality of unit element array modules 30 are mounted in the row direction on a mounting board 40.
