PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image reflecting an actual image. SOLUTION: The radiation detector comprises radiation measuring elements each provided with a switching element 2 and a storage electrode 3, and a radiation converting layer 4 formed on the switching elements 2 and the storage electrodes 3. A cut 6 is made in a part of the radiation converting layer 4, i.e. above the part between each switching element 2 and the storage electrode 3 of adjacent pixel in order to prevent the lines of electric force from leaking to the adjacent pixel.
