PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable exact display or the like in simple configuration in the case of performing the display while utilizing a call originating number notice service by detecting call originating number information contained in an incoming signal, judging the class of a number at the prescribed position of this detected call originating number information and displaying the class. SOLUTION: An antenna 1 shared for transmission and reception of a wireless telephone set is connected to a wireless part 2, the receiving processing of a wireless signal transmitted from a radio base station through a down line is performed by the wireless part 2 and the transmitting processing of a wireless signal to be transmitted through an up line to the side of the radio base station is performed. The signal received at the wireless part 2 is supplied to a signal processing part 3 and an audio signal is demodulated, supplied to a loudspeaker 4 and discharged. Besides, control data contained in the received signal are supplied to a control part 6 for controlling the operation of the telephone set. Further, the call originating number information contained in the received signal is detected inside this signal processing part 3, the detected information is supplied to the control part 6, and the call originating number information judged by the control part 6 is displayed on a display part 6.
