PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct distribution of quantity of light without installing independently a correction circuit. SOLUTION: An image picking-up plane 50 of an optically transparent body 2 for picking up an object 13 is made circular. An irradiation means 33 is circularly arranged surrounding the image picking-up plane 50, which is obliquely irradiated from the outer peripheral side. Thereby characteristics of the quantity of light in the peripheral part of a lens 41 are decreased so as to cancel increase of the quantity of light in the peripheral part which is caused by the irradiating means 33 for oblique irradiation from the outer peripheral side.
