PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated-gate bipolar-mode transistor(IGBT) control device, which forcibly fixes the control output of the IGBT into a state Low, if a failure occurred in the IGBT control device, and make it possible to stop the counting of a timer and to actuate a protective function. SOLUTION: After a delay time has elapsed in a delay circuit 4, the time width of a one-shot square-wave signal is determined in a 16-bit timer 6 and 16-bit comparison register 8. The instant the 16-bit timer 6 is counted, the one- shot square-wave signal is changed into a High state in an output latch 11 of an IGBT. Then, it is changed into a Low state to be outputted with a timing, such that the timer value of the 16-bit timer 6 becomes equal to that of the 16-bit comparing register 8. |
