PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a photographed image from being transmitted immediately at the very beginning of connection. SOLUTION: A memory 64 stores an image to be sent at the very beginning of channel connection in advance. When a channel connects to the transmitter, the image stored in the memory 64 is sent to an opposite party for a prescribed time and displayed on a video monitor 54. After the elapse of a prescribed time, a photographed image by an image pickup element 30 is sent to the opposite party and displayed on the video monitor 54. A selector switch 66 is used to select which of images stored in the memory 64 is to be sent at the very beginning of channel connection. |
