PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can prevent the fouling of surfaces in ranges other than an image part. SOLUTION: In an image forming device having a developing part in which at least a latent image carrying body 1 and a developer carrying body 13 are opposedly arranged to each other with a gap held therebetween and in which a developing process is performed by applying to the gap a voltage obtained by superimposing a vibrating voltage on a dc voltage by use of a bias power supply, the superimposing of the vibrating voltage by use of the bias power supply is effected by performing the process of switching the bias power supply on and off in synchronization with the presence and absence of an image on an optional position on the latent image carrying body 1. |
