<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the magnification/reduction processing of image data without thinning true data to convert the resolution of the image data and to prevent the decline of image quality. SOLUTION: In this image processing circuit 20, the data are latched corresponding to a resolution conversion rate and interpolation data are added by a data interpolation circuit 23, and in an image reduction circuit 24, by thinning a serial transfer clock for latching the data, the interpolation data added by the data interpolation circuit 23 are thinned and the image data are reduced. Thus, resolution conversion is performed and the image data are reduced without thinning the true data. Also, by providing a white interpolation circuit 40 as the data interpolation circuit 23, since the data to be added at the time of data conversion are turned to white data, ink is thinned at the time of printing, a using ink amount is saved and the ink is quickly dried after printing in the image printing of many black parts.</p> |
