PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate display device with which jag-free video can be obtained. SOLUTION: An input means 10 sends a function x=F(Y), a start point Ys , and an end point Ye to a comparing means 14 through a memory 12, sends x=F(Y) and Ys to an arithmetic means 16 when Ys <Yc to obtain an original coordinate value Xs , sends Ys and xs to an arithmetic means 18 and a subtracting means 20 to generate display data of subpixels of RGB(red, green, and blue) of coordinate values (XS, YS) of pixels, and then send the generated display data to a memory 24. The comparing means 22 decides and sends XS-YS from the means 20 to a control means 30. The control means 30 performs different processes according to whether it is larger than onesubpixel width and smaller than two-subpixel width, or larger than the two-subpixel width and accumulates the result in an address value based upon the coordinate value of the subpixel of R, or R and G of the coordinate value of the right adjacent pixel of (XS, YS). This process is repeated up to the final line Ye , and data regarding respective lines are stored in the memory 24 and then read out to display their video on a liquid crystal display 28. |
