PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize images by matching an image size even in the case that the image size of an original is different. SOLUTION: This image formation device is provided with an image read unit for reading the images, a primary storage device 802 and a secondary storage device 804 for storing the read images, an MSU (image memory controller) and a CPU for reading the stored images and an MSU synthesis part 709 for synthesizing the read images and the stored images. In this case, at the time of preserving image data in the primary storage device 802 and the secondary storage device 804, the size (original image size and magnification) of the image is simultaneously preserved as well. Thus, at the time of synthesizing the stored images and the read images, the image size is matched with the image to be read from the storage devices 802 and 804 and synthesized corresponding to the preserved size of the image. |
