PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a backlight device without display unevenness by preventing a light correction sheet from distortions, caused by a slim backlight of the display device. SOLUTION: A light guide body 1 is constituted to be supported by a casing 7 via a convex rib 8 provided on at least one of sides and a fitting hole 9 fitted into the rib 8. Accordingly, the light guide body 1 and the casing 7 are integrated to allow the prevention of the light guide body 1 from deflecting to eliminate pressing of a light correction sheet 6 caused by deflection of the light guide body 1. As a consequence, display unevenness caused by contorting of the light correction sheet 6 is resolved.
