PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital optical fiber gyro which can eliminate the influences of modulation gain errors and changes in intensity of coherent light. SOLUTION: A digital signal processor 100 generates composite signals for various kinds of phase modulation by combining signals for effecting phase modulation so that the phase difference of coherent light takes six values of±(γ-θ),±(γ+θ+δ) and±(γ+θ-δ) or six values of±(γ+θ),±(γ-θ-δ) and±(γ-θ+δ) repeatedly in a predetermined order, with the continuation time of each step beingτ/m whereinτis the propagation time of light in an optical- fiber loop 6 ((m) is an integer of 2 or more), and signals for canceling out a Sagnac phase difference. The signals are inputted to a phase modulator 5 via a D/A converter 10 or the like.
