PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a quick variable-speed reproduction. SOLUTION: A memory controller 716 controls memories 711, 712 so as to simultaneously output original sound data series X(n), X(n+m) one by one to multiplier 713. The multiplier 713 multiplies the inputted original sound data series X(n) and X(n+m) to output a multiplied result to an accumulator 714, which calculates a cumulative sum for n=0 to n=N-1 of X(n).X(n+m) successively inputted from the multiplier 713. A memory 715 storesϕ' (m) being calculation results of the accumulator 714 by the control of the memory controller 716. A timing controller 714 controls operating timings of the multiplier 713, the accumulator 714 and the memory controller 716.
