PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fast output a form regardless of the contents of the form data by preparing a 1st drawing means which draws the image data to every plane buffer and a 2nd drawing means which draws or erases the image data to the plane buffer according to the necessity or unnecessity of drawing and performing the switching between both drawing means. SOLUTION: A drawing object generation part 603a analyzes the print data stored in a receiving buffer 607 and generates a drawing object that is equivalent at least to a single page. Then a drawing object generation part 603c generates the image data equivalent to a single page (or one of plural divided bands) based on the drawing object that is generated by the means 603a. A CPU 601 outputs the video signals to a print part 105 via a print part I/F 609 by the bit ON/OFF operations of the image data. The part 105 prints the images on the recording paper 201 based on the video signals received from the CPU 601.
