PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an operation error which can be caused in the case of the post-processing of jammed paper sheets by a user and the service action of a service man and also to prevent the damage of a separation pawl caused in the case of the service action of the service man. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a fixing part 41 having a fixing roller 17a and a pressuring roller 17b, separation pawls 44 and 45, paper ejecting guide plates (holding member) 42 and 43 for the pawls 44 and 45 and a paper ejecting part (turning member) 50 which is engaged with the plates 42 and 43 and makes the pawls 44 and 45 separate from and come close to the surfaces of the rollers 17a and 17b. In this case, the part 50 is provided with upper and lower covers (cover member) 70 and 71 covering the tip end parts of the pawls 44, 45, arms (arm member) 72 and 73 supporting the covers 70 and 71 and turnably disposed, twisted coil springs (elastic member) 75 and 76 energizing the arms 72 and 73 and controlling the turning and cleaning members 82 and 83. |
