PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the gradations of light emission luminance linear for each of light emitting elements of R(red), G(green) and B(blue). SOLUTION: This device is a color display device which makes a color display based on 1st, 2nd and 3rd primary color lights. This device is provided with plural 1st electrode lines (BR1 , BG1 , BB1 , BR2 , BG2 , BB2 ...BRn , BGn and BBn ), either of which is selected in every horizontal scanning period, plural 2nd electrode lines (AR1 , AG1 , AB1 , AR2 , AG2 , AB2 ...ARn , AGn , ABn ), either of which is selected corresponding to a pixel position in the horizontal scanning period and 1st, 2nd and 3rd light emitting elements (R1.1 to Rn ,m , G1.1 to Gn ,m and B1.1 to Bn ,m ) in which one and the other electrode are connected to either one of the 1st electrode lines and either one of the 2nd electrode lines, the respective electrodes are arranged in a matrix shape and emit the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd primary color lights. The 1st electrode lines are composed of electrode lines where only either one of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd light emitting elements is connected. |
