PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture generator and an information storage medium which realize various picture expressions only by examining the positional relation between objects and resolve the problem of sight obstacles. SOLUTION: An object 30 is transparently displayed (semitransparently displayed or mesh displayed) based on the positional relation between a character 20 and the object 30. When the object 30 enters an area 24 designated by a position P of the character 20, the object is transparently displayed. A sectorial area 24 is provided between the character 20 and a viewpoint 22. When the object 30 enters the sectorial area 24 designated by a position D of the object 30, the object 30 may be transparently displayed. A center C of the sector is provided on the outside of the object 30 so that the area 24 may overlap the object 30. The distance between positions D and C and the radius and the center angle of the sector are changed in accordance with the kind of the object 30. |
