PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective calling receiver for which no scrolling is required and a secret mode can be released easily in a short time. SOLUTION: A function setting storage section 14 stores a password key pattern in plural digits consisting of depression patterns of pluralities of kinds of keys provided to the selective calling receiver, a control section 5 compares a key pattern received from an entry section when the secret mode is released with a password pattern stored in the function setting storage section 14 and releases the secret mode, when they match to transfer the secret mode into a usual mode. |
