PURPOSE:To improve a transfer efficiency by setting a corona charge of a corona discharge of a transfer means, and a corona charge of a corona discharge of a separating means, to a specified range, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A DC corona current of 2.71-3.54muA/cm is made to flow to a charger wire 16, and a corona discharge is executed, by which a picture on a photosensitive drum 1 is transferred to a transfer paper P. An AC corona current of 1.88-2.3muA/cm is made to flow to a charger wire 26, a corona discharge is executed, and the transfer paper P is separated from the photosensitive drum 1. These corona current values are a current value in case a circumferential speed of the photosensitive body 1 is 130mm./s, and when it is shown as a corona discharge charge, there is a relation of Q=I/v[C]. Accordingly, when a charge of a corona discharge of a transfer means 8, and a charge of a corona discharge of a separating means 9 are set to 0.208-0.272muc/cm<2> and 0.145-0.177muc/cm<2>, respectively, it can be set to a corona current value suitable for a circumferential speed of the photosensitive body 1, the transfer efficiency is improved, the separation can be executed to various transfer papers, as well, and a picture disorder and a tip omission in case of the separation are not generated. |
