PURPOSE:To smoothly drive a pile into the ground without causing breakage thereof by a method in which the rotary rod of a pile driver is inserted over the whole length into the cavity of a spiral pile with a cavity, and the pile is laid by the pressing force of the pile driver and also the rotation of the rotary rod. CONSTITUTION:A pile driver consists of the machine body 1, a leader 2 to support a pile, a rotator 3, and a long rotary rod 4. A spiral pile 5 has a spiral collar on its periphery and a cavity matching the cross section of the rotary rod 4 over the whole length of the pile in its center. When the pile 5 is inserted into the rotary rod 4 of the pile driver and the pile driver begins to operate, the pile is rotationally penetrated into the ground. The pile can thus be smoothly penetrated into the ground without causing breakage of the pile since the whole of the pile is turned by the same force without partial application of anomalous forces to resistance of soil. |
