<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly set a stop clock and a branching port at a point of construction in the middle of an existing pipe through which water flows. SOLUTION: A sealant 5 is installed in an existing pipe, filled in a sealant installing groove 6 of a lower box 1, polymerized with an upper box 2 on an opposed surface and fixed with a bolt and a nut. A stop cock 3 and a cutter 4 are supported on an upper part of the upper box 2 free to rotate and slide, and the inside of the sealant 5, the communicating stop cock 3 and the inside of the cutter 4 form an airtight space in a closed state. The cutter 4 and chips are collected by removing a closed cover 7 after stopping water by cutting the existing pipe by the cutter 4. A coupler, etc., are connected to a takeoff port of the closed cover 7 and it is used as a branching port.</p> |
