PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive, highly reliable dielectric filter with freedom in designing, by forming an input/output terminal and a connection terminal of a dielectric filter in recessed shapes. SOLUTION: A dielectric filter has a bonded structure formed by two quarter- wave coaxial dielectric resonators 1. A recessed input/output terminal 6 formed by conductors with surrounding areas stripped and a recessed connection terminal 7 are formed at each of the dielectric resonators 1. The dielectric resonators 1 function as band-pass filters, by soldering two surfaces with the connection terminals 7 of the dielectric resonators 1 together and two surfaces with external conductors 3 of the dielectric resonators 1 together. Thus, the intensity of coupling is varied in a wider range in comparison with the case of planar terminals by forming the terminals of the dielectric filter in recessed shapes. The variation of the intensity of coupling is effective, when on adequately large coupling capacitance to be formed between terminal parts and internal conductors connect secured, because dielectric constants of the resonators are small. |
