摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrayed optical device module, in which array density of the surface optical devices is high and positioning of the surface optical devices and optical fibers is easy. SOLUTION: A module 10 has a module substrate 12 provided with surface arrayed optical devices, a block 14 for fixing fibers to the module substrate 12, and optical fibers 16 inserted in optical fiber inserting holes in the fiber fixing block 14. The module substrate 12 is provided with surface arrayed optical devices comprised of surface optical device 18 disposed in the center and on vertexes of regular hexagons of the regular hexagonal mesh array on the substrate, and a large protrusion 22 and small protrusions 23 disposed on the substrate side each on the axis of one surface optical device 18. The fiber fixing block 14 is provided with optical fiber inserting holes 24 corresponding to the surface optical device 18, and a large guide hole 26 and small guide holes 27 corresponding to the large protrusion 22 and the small protrusions 23. The guides are inserted to the protrusions respectively and coupled to the module substrate 12.
