PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning optical device adjastable to detect a beam always at the same timing. SOLUTION: On a notch of an SOS sensor fitting board 41, a collimeter lens frame 42 is fixed in a state of being protruded from the rear face 413 of the fitting board 41. A rotary guide hole 46a to be engaged with the outer periphery of an end of the frame 42 is punched on an SOS sensor fitting member 46. An SOS circuit board 48 for holding an SOS sensor 50 on the center axis of the guide hole 46a is fixed on the member 46. A pair of inclination detecting light receiving faces arranged linearly symmetrically about a longitudinal direction center axis 11 and having expansion along the center axis 11 and linear light receiving face orthogonal to the center axis 11 are formed on the surface of the sensor 50. |
