PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a white strip in a lateral direction appearing in the middle of upper and lower parts of a display screen of the color picture tube. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a vertical deflection coil 60, a convergence correction circuit 2 that uses a switching action of diodes 203, 204, 206, 207, vertical coma aberration correction coils 209a, 209b, 209c, 209d and correction coils 210a, 210b and vertical linearity correction circuit 1 that is a means for decreasing the impedance of the vertical deflection circuit, when electron beams collides with around the middle of upper and lower parts of a display screen of the color picture tube. |
