PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a power supply part by using a single power supply as the power supply for circuits, and to enable freely set a high- tension DC power supply, the power supply for circuits and the structure of the power supply. SOLUTION: This AC power supply 1 rectifies the three-phase alternating currents supplied from three-phase output windings 12 of a generator 10 with a rectifier circuit with a rectification stopping function comprising thyristors D31 to D33 and diodes D34 to D36, generates a high-tension DC power +VDC, and outputs it by inverting it into an AC power of a given frequency via an inverter part 70. In this case, a rectifier circuit REC2 is provided parallel to the rectifier circuit with the rectification stopping function to rectify three-phase alternating current. A gate power generating capacitor C41, whose one end is connected to the high-tension DC power +VDC is charged to generate a gate power +VG. By supplying the gate power +VG to each thyristor via a gate power control transistor Q41 and gate resistors R31 to R33, the rectifier circuit with the rectification stopping function is controlled so as to be capable of performing rectifying action. |
